Perhaps the most popular item on the Bangkok $1 menu is a choice of meat stir fried with Thai holy basil.

Though it’s possible to just get the dish over a bed of rice, a fried egg on the side is the icing on the cake. That rich runny yolk elevates any plate of pad kra pao to near heavenly status.

    Thai hamburger, when Thai people don’t know what to eat they just ask for Pad Kra Pao all the way!!!!
