Thai Suki, My Style

A beautiful assembly of Suki!

A beautiful assembly of Suki!

Sometimes when I’m in the mood for some healthy Thai food (but I’m really hungry), I go to the nearest stall and order suki haeng (สุกี้แห้ง) along with rice.

I then head home and chop up a few tomatoes and add some raw garlic. Rice goes on my plate first, followed by the suki, then the fresh vegetables (that I bought separately), and finally I dump the suki sauce on top.

Healthy, delicious, and filling – but if someone Thai saw me eating this creation, they’d definitely think I’m a little strange – and I am – but it’s so good!
