gaeng sôm pàk ruam

Description:

Gaeng som is a reddish orange tinged soup where sour and sweet are the most protruding flavors.  A first sample of the acerbic concentrate along with the sweet palm sugar and added vegetables might at first make you cringe but when you get used to the pungent taste, you won’t be able to put your spoon down.  Gaeng som is a highly addictive soup if you like vegetables and it is served bursting with zing!

Main Ingredients:

  • “Gaeng som” curry paste
  • Vegetable juice
  • Tamarid juice
  • Palm sugar
  • Fish sauce
  • Cauliflour
  • String beans
  • Carrots
  • Water mimosa
