Khanom Jeen Dondakob (ร้านขนมจีนต้นตะขบ)

There are about a thousand places to eat rice noodles (khanom jeen) and curry on the island of Phuket, but I really like Khanom Jeen Dandakob (ร้านขนมจีนต้นตะขบ). It’s very typical and normal, but just great tasting curies and friendly family service. Try their khanom jeen nam ya boo (ขนมจีนน้ำยาปู coconut milk crab curry), gaeng tai pla (แกงไตปลา fermented fish viscera curry), and any other curries that look good. It’s also pretty common to add a piece of fried chicken to your rice noodles and curry. They also have some snacks and usually some fish custard (ห่อหมก haw mok) on your table that you can try.
